A few clarifications theoretically
Capitalism is a social system. And social systems are responsible to everybody: with reference to any given society. Basically, my view is that the system of capitalism becomes dominant at some point — but this only applies to a very few countries. What this means, then, is that the capitalist systems become dominant for British culture about 1850, and a bit later for the U. S. Capitalism becomes dominant here in the U. S. around 1880.
